Description

You will own firmware and system-level testing for IoT devices, including analog and digital circuit troubleshooting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification and validation test plans to meet product requirements.
• Design and build automated test systems, fixtures, and procedures for production.
• Capture and document defects in JIRA with logs, snapshots, and videos.
• Communicate technical risks and project progress to electrical, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams.
• Participate in weekly syncs to provide QA input and track development issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware testing.
• Proficiency with Python for automation.
• Hands-on experience using Putty and Teraterm.
• Experience with JIRA for defect tracking and issue management.
• Familiarity with flashing embedded devices such as IoT devices or circuit breakers.
• Knowledge of Zigbee protocols and network protocol analyzers.
• Understanding of basic power and electrical parameters.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with Visio for documentation and Jama for requirement management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience specifically with Silicon Labs Zigbee IoT devices.
