Description

You will design, build, and maintain fault-tolerant backend systems for medium-sized enterprises, owning the full lifecycle from code to production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate software components into encapsulated units using Core Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Cassandra, and MS SQL on Azure.
• Automate production deployments and manage build/release processes for multiple environments using Harness and DevOps pipelines.
• Review code changes, contribute to technical discussions, and mentor engineers through root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ensure system reliability by implementing multi-geolocation deployment strategies and disaster recovery protocols.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Java backend developer with deep expertise in Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong command of Microservices architecture and streaming technologies, specifically Kafka and pub/sub patterns.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and containerization, including Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
• Experience managing Azure cloud services, including Azure DevOps and networking configurations.
• Database proficiency with MS SQL (Azure) and NoSQL (Cassandra).
• Familiarity with version control (GitHub) and security frameworks like OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of multi-geolocation application deployment and disaster recovery systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
