Description

You will develop enterprise APIs and production infrastructure within an agile environment using two-week sprints.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern REST APIs and cloud-enabled services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement API layers and integrate them into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to build a common API layer across various data sources.
• Design database schemas, storage considerations, and data mapping strategies for RDBMS and NoSQL.
• Develop and implement unit test code and automated test scripts as part of the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE (version 8+) and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Spring, REST, JSON, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL or Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka, including environment setup and data transformations.
• Experience working with AWS and GCP cloud environments.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and RDBMS to NoSQL migration considerations.
• Experience with incoming/outgoing file processing.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
