Description

You will own the full software lifecycle for new and existing applications, from design to support. You will lead technical decisions, mentor junior engineers, and ensure robust release practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support software and web applications using Java and Python.
• Lead code reviews, technical documentation, and architectural decision defense for internal stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and facilitate training on internally developed applications.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, including rollout and monitoring, using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Define acceptance criteria, test plans, and support strategies for complex systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
• Expertise in Core Java and Spring Boot for backend development.
• Proficiency in Python and Apache Spark for data analytics.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Cloud Foundry.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and Agile Development Practices.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Node.js and React for full-stack capabilities.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and developer productivity tools like GitHub Copilot.
