Software Developer - FIS

Lead the migration of the FIS Private Capital Suite (formerly Investran) from on-premises to a SaaS model.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers, engineers, and QA specialists to execute successful software migration and upgrades.
• Define, document, and develop software applications while contributing to architecture and technical design.
• Conduct code reviews, root cause analysis, and impact assessments for all software changes.
• Perform integration testing and troubleshoot applications to mitigate migration risks.
• Mentor junior team members and establish application standards and processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development or migration projects.
• 3+ years of experience working in both Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems, including shells, file systems, symbolic links, and process management.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and API integrations.
• Experience working within an Agile environment.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale, enterprise-style financial services applications.
• Ability to create professional quality project documentation and technical specifications.

Preferred Skills

• Deep understanding of transitioning Private Capital Suite/Investran to the Investran LIVE SaaS model.
• Direct experience with the FIS Private Capital Suite software product.
