Description

Lead systems programming efforts in Rust to develop and optimize caching and data lake technologies. You will own the release pipeline, resolve low-level bugs, and scale infrastructure for vertical and horizontal growth.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead Rust development for caching and data lake solutions.
• Optimize software-hardware interactions to minimize latency.
• Translate architectural designs into implementable engineering solutions.
• Analyze I/O bottlenecks and resolve race conditions.
• Scale systems for vertical and horizontal growth.

Required Skills

• 2+ years developing non-web applications using Rust.
• 8+ years with system-level languages (C, C++, or Java).
• Deep understanding of Linux storage subsystems and networking stack.
• Knowledge of low-level protocols including TCP and HTTP.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, code review, and automated testing.
• Experience debugging complex system-level issues and documenting technical designs.
• Ability to collaborate across teams on large-scale projects.

Preferred Skills

• Contributions to the Linux kernel or similar open-source projects.
• Experience with embedded systems, ARM64, Database, S3, or POSIX file system programming.
