Description

Design and implement responsive, accessible web applications using Angular, Spring Boot, and Java. Own the release pipeline and mentor junior developers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and test responsive, mobile-friendly, and accessible web features.
• Translate technical specifications into working applications, including detailed programming specifications and unit tests.
• Troubleshoot technical problems during software implementation, conversion, and migrations.
• Review the work of team members and mentor junior developers to strengthen development capabilities.
• Assess cost-benefit analyses for proposed solution designs to gain technical consensus.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development.
• Extensive experience with Angular (versions 14, 15, and 16).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Experience building responsive solutions that meet WCAG 2.0 standards.
• Experience designing and constructing REST API services and integrating front-end UIs with them.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud-based solutions, DevOps, and microservices.
• Familiarity with IT security and data privacy technical standards.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Ontario Digital Service Standards and the Ontario Design System.
• Experience with Siebel Open UI and Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies.
