Description

You will develop and maintain e-commerce platforms and integrated service architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build commercial websites and integrate third-party services including Google Analytics, Olark, SEO, and phone systems.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs on both client and server sides.
• Transition application architecture from server-side rendering to client-side rendering.
• Manage modular deployments via CI/CD pipelines, maintaining 2-3 production deployments per week.
• Write tests using RSpec and TDD principles within a collaborative QA environment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with Ruby services.
• Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, or Vue.
• Expertise in RESTful API development and consumption.
• Experience with RSpec and TDD.
• Knowledge of modular CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• AWS migration using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Containerized workflows using Docker.
• Real-time protocol experience with WebSockets or Solid Cable.
