Description

You will develop central operating system components for the BS2000 mainframe environment, owning the full software lifecycle from specification to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain central OS components and support internal modules.
• Collaborate on complex IT architecture concepts based on specific customer requirements.
• Provide technical documentation, user manuals, and maintenance support for third-party components.
• Deliver technical support and problem-solving for service and sales teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience with assembler and script languages.
• Hands-on experience with debugging systems.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including source management and continuous integration.
• Experience with C runtime environments for operating systems.
• Degree in Computer Science or comparable professional IT training.
• Very good knowledge of German and good English.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of database middleware and transaction processing.
