Description

Develop central operating system components for the BS2000 mainframe environment, owning the full software lifecycle from specification to implementation.

You will develop and maintain central OS components and support internal modules. Collaborate on complex IT architecture concepts based on specific customer requirements. Provide technical documentation, user manuals, and maintenance support for third-party components. Deliver technical support and problem-solving for service and sales teams.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience with assembler and script languages.
• Hands-on experience with debugging systems.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including source management and continuous integration.
• Experience with C runtime environments for operating systems.
• Very good knowledge of German and good English.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of database middleware and transaction processing.
