Description

You will develop, deploy, and optimize high-performance seismic imaging applications using C/C++ and parallel computing frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain proprietary seismic imaging software within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Profile and optimize code to maximize HPC system utilization and throughput.
• Transform prototype research code into production-ready solutions.
• Collaborate with HPC systems engineers and geoscientists to influence hardware and system upgrade decisions.
• Provide technical support to global business partners and mentor developers through code reviews and pair programming.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in C/C++ programming.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Linux/Unix environments.
• Deep understanding of Parallel Computing, MPI, OpenMP, and CUDA.
• Strong knowledge of Algorithms, Data Structures, and Performance Optimization.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, modern C++ (C++11+), and Unix shell scripting (BASH).
• Familiarity with profiling tools such as Intel VTune, NVIDIA Nsight, or gprof.
• Knowledge of containerized deployment, cloud computing, or geoscience domain expertise.
