Description

You will perform highly advanced computer programming work, researching, designing, and implementing web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement specialized programs to enhance front and back-end web applications using HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET(Blazor)/C#.
• Write, test, debug, and document complex client/server and web-based applications using C# (.Net), MVC, and/or SQL.
• Develop extensive SQL queries for performance tuning and legacy data migration.
• Support Texas Department of Agriculture applications software by diagnosing problems and implementing necessary changes.
• Coordinate with developers, BAs, and leadership to validate requirements and model solutions that meet functional and technical needs.

Required Skills

• 7+ years experience with highly complex (senior-level) software development and web programming.
• 7+ years experience automating APIs, web services, and web applications using C# .net framework, MVC, and SQL server.
• 7+ years experience designing and developing web-based and windows-based applications using .NET, HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET(Blazor)/C#, JavaScript, SQL, and CSS.
• 5+ years experience using Azure DevOps and AWS DevOps.
• 5+ years experience working in an Agile-based development environment.
• Direct experience in a state agency's financial area, including budget, accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with the CAPPS project is relevant.
