Description

Design, develop, and implement specialized web and desktop applications for financial systems using C# and .NET.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build front and back-end web applications using ASP.NET (Blazor), C#, HTML5, and CSS.
• Write, test, debug, and document complex client/server applications using C# (.NET), MVC, and SQL Server.
• Develop extensive SQL queries for performance tuning and legacy data migration.
• Diagnose problems and implement changes for Texas Department of Agriculture applications.
• Coordinate with developers, BAs, and leadership to validate requirements and model solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years experience in senior-level software development and web programming.
• 7+ years automating APIs, web services, and web applications using C# .NET framework, MVC, and SQL Server.
• 7+ years designing and developing web-based and Windows-based applications using .NET, HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET (Blazor)/C#, JavaScript, SQL, and CSS.
• 5+ years experience using Azure DevOps and AWS DevOps.
• 5+ years experience working in an Agile-based development environment.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field (Bachelor's degree).
• Direct experience in a state agency's financial area, including budget, accounting, and financial reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the CAPPS project.
