Description

Design, develop, and debug mission-critical software source code within a full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug source code using C# and modern development tools.
• Own the delivery of specific system components or application modules.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle using Agile tools like Azure DevOps or TFS.
• Develop maintainable code, automated tests, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to determine technical designs and approaches.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with C# or VB.NET and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and frameworks such as React.
• Working knowledge of software design patterns and development process fundamentals.
• Familiarity with .NET, ASP.NET Web Forms, and/or MVC.
• Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, REST, JSON, SOAP, and WSDL.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio and version control systems like Git.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• BS Degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Relational Database Management Systems such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or server-side JavaScript.
