Description

You will design, build, and support a scalable CMS for a cross-platform streaming service.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend APIs and system instrumentation.
• Architect solutions, perform data modeling, and gather requirements.
• Manage all phases of the rapid product development lifecycle.
• Create technical documentation for implemented systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and product management to meet deadlines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend web development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong grasp of Object Oriented Programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with source control systems, specifically Git.
• Knowledge of web development best practices.
• Ability to articulate technical ideas clearly in writing and verbally.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java Spring Boot, NextJS, or NoSQL concepts.
• Knowledge of Lucene/SOLR, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments (GCP, AWS).
• Familiarity with modern CMS systems and open-source software.
