Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of high-throughput distributed systems for cross-team initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical architecture for provisioning, billing, network, and customer-facing applications.
• Architect event-driven systems using Apache Kafka for real-time streaming and integration.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools into engineering workflows to improve developer productivity.
• Lead design reviews, establish engineering standards, and mentor senior engineers.
• Drive production incident response, root cause analysis, and systemic improvements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years overall experience with 8+ years hands-on Java (11+) and Spring Boot.
• Deep Oracle expertise including PL/SQL, performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Strong Kafka experience with producers, consumers, Kafka Streams, and schema registry.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design, microservices patterns, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to evaluate AI tools and apply them to solve engineering problems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Telecom, network/mobile provisioning, or billing systems (MNO/MVNO).
• Familiarity with AI/ML platforms.
