Description

You will design, build, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications and systems that support critical business functions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, and document complex software applications and technical designs.
• Develop new application features and maintain existing systems to ensure specification compliance.
• Participate in peer code and design reviews to ensure quality and adherence to patterns.
• Coordinate with internal departments and users to support and resolve issues in business applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed systems and APIs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with JEE, EJB 3, Hibernate 3, JPA, JMS, JSF, and JBoss 4.
• 10+ years of experience with the Spring framework.
• 10+ years of experience with RDBMS concepts, specifically PostgreSQL, Oracle 10g, and SQL Server.
• 10+ years of experience in application development, software engineering, and design patterns.
• 10+ years of experience in web application development.
• 8+ years of experience in object-oriented design and architecture.
• 6+ years of experience in Web Services and API development.
• 4+ years of experience in technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of APIs and SOA patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale enterprise systems supporting critical business functions.
