Description

You own the verification and qualification of Surface software, firmware, and related hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Run test cases, report results, log bugs, and provide weekly status reports.
• Develop verification strategies and plans mapping high-level use cases to product architecture.
• Design scenario-focused solutions to systematically reveal system and code defects.
• Lead test strategy discussions, defining methodologies, plans, and execution procedures.
• Write and review test automation code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years designing and testing computer firmware and software at component and system levels.
• Experience with driver development, testing, and debugging.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, and C++.
• Knowledge of HDMI, I2S, HDA, I2C, Soundwire, Audio Codecs, and Audio Drivers.
• Ability to write test documentation, including plans, procedures, and reports.
• Capacity to assimilate technical concepts across multiple disciplines.
• Experience planning and executing work within rapidly evolving environments.
