Description

Drive frontend test coverage for a Micro Frontend React ecosystem by implementing an integration-first, automation-first testing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Playwright-based E2E and smoke tests for critical guest journeys including browse, add-to-bag, and checkout.
• Develop integration tests using React Testing Library, Jest, and internal testing harnesses.
• Implement API mocking and dynamic data setup using Mock Service Worker (MSW) and shared data fakers.
• Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines, managing trace/video capture and visual regression workflows.
• Collaborate with developers and QE to replace low-value Cypress tests with performant alternatives and reduce test flakiness.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of frontend testing or development experience.
• Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright for E2E testing in CI/CD environments.
• Solid understanding of React Testing Library and Jest.
• Experience with Mock Service Worker (MSW) for API mocking.
• GitLab CI/CD experience, specifically configuring test jobs and managing artifacts.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3 and CloudFront.
• Working knowledge of TestRail or similar test case management platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture.
