Description

You will design and implement test strategies for distributed applications, ensuring quality from unit to production. You own the full testing lifecycle: estimating effort, prioritizing work, and coordinating quality activities to prevent errors before they reach users.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and debug automated tests for browser-based web applications across multiple browsers.
• Develop end-to-end automation frameworks using Core Java and tools like Selenium, TestCafe, or Cypress.
• Review technical design documents to provide timely feedback on quality specifications and potential failure points.
• Plan and coordinate test metrics, including functional, regression, and integration testing efforts.
• Conduct backend and frontend testing automation, including SQL-based data validation.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in testing and test automation for distributed applications.
• 2+ years of experience automating end-to-end test cases for distributed systems.
• Strong Core Java programming skills for building test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestCafe, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
• Thorough knowledge of RDBMS and SQL for backend testing and data verification.
• Experience testing browser-based web applications and GUI automation.
• Understanding of scalability limits, load characteristics, and performance testing principles.
• Ability to learn new technologies with minimal guidance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL and Big Data testing.
• Testing experience on Spark or Elasticsearch-based applications.
• Experience testing container-based applications in cloud environments (AWS).
