Description

You will own the full software development lifecycle for Java-based applications, from design through unit testing and deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute all SDLC phases for Java applications, including design, development, and unit testing.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for project modules.
• Develop Java beans and services to implement core application functionalities.
• Manage build deployments using continuous integration tools within Agile iterations.
• Provide on-call support during production live cycles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java 8, including functional interfaces, collectors, and default methods.
• Strong command of Core Java concepts.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring MVC frameworks.
• Hands-on work with Hibernate.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Ability to travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, Engineering, or a closely related field.
