Description

You will design and build Big Data solutions using the Hadoop ecosystem. You own the full lifecycle from environment configuration to operational handover.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and configure Hadoop environments to support scalable data processing.
• Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed system designs.
• Develop and maintain scalable web services for data tracking and high-speed querying.
• Deploy and manage HBase, ensuring strict adherence to security and data privacy standards.
• Analyze large-scale data stores to uncover insights and test prototypes before operational handover.

Required Skills

• Core Java development with a focus on performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop development and implementation.
• Proficiency in Scala for data processing tasks.
• Experience working with Hive and Pig.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Big Data architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field with 3+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience managing and deploying HBase.
