Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services and DevOps pipelines for cloud-native applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Security.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GCP Cloud Build and Jenkins.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with Java backend development.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of REST API design and Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience with GCP Artifact Registry, Cloud Build, and Cloud Deploy.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Istio and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT security, and Redis caching.
