Description

You will own the full lifecycle of software modules, from requirements engineering and design through development, testing, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design, enhance, test, and support core software modules and system components.
• Develop and execute test specifications, including unit tests and integration scenarios.
• Review customer standard specifications to define precise engineering requirements.
• Debug front-end web code and maintain robust TypeScript implementations.
• Lead technical initiatives within software development projects to drive delivery.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with Java 8 or better, including JavaFX and lambdas.
• Experience with Angular and front-end web development.
• Ability to develop high-quality software in TypeScript.
• Experience with JUnit and mocking frameworks like Mockito.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Deep understanding of multithreading, inter-process communication, and asynchronicity.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• BS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Golang, MongoDB, Protobuf, WebSocket, Kubernetes, or ActiveMQ.
• Knowledge of the railroad domain.
