Description

You will develop and enhance features for embedded devices and Android applications used in transport terminals. You own the full product development cycle from analysis to system testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and add new features to embedded devices and Android application suites.
• Provide ongoing sustaining support and address end-to-end feature enhancements.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Architects, and Engineers to track requirements through delivery.
• Work within an agile development team using Scrum methodology.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java programming.
• Proven experience in Android development.
• Proficiency working within a Linux environment.
• Experience with multi-threaded development.
• Ability to develop for resource-constrained environments (bandwidth, RAM, and storage).
• Competency in software testing and system testing.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Must possess a Belgian work permit.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Telco network protocols (2G/3G/4G, 5G).
• Experience with peripheral protocols for cameras, printers, and Bluetooth.
