Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain COBOL programs and CICS components for mainframe systems.
• Apply DB2 database concepts including SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Write and maintain JCL for batch job execution and operational support.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and business applications.
• Document and maintain a knowledge base effectively with attention to detail.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
• Good understanding of mainframe application development and support.
• Experience working with DB2 databases, SQL queries, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of batch processing and job scheduling using JCL.
• Understanding of IT systems, business applications, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in support and development environments.
