Description

You will develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL programs and CICS components for mainframe systems.
• Apply DB2 database concepts, including SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Write and maintain JCL for batch job execution and operational support.
• Document systems and maintain a knowledge base with attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot issues and support business applications and IT systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
• Strong understanding of mainframe application development and support.
• Experience with DB2 databases, SQL queries, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of batch processing and job scheduling using JCL.
• Understanding of IT systems, business applications, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
