Description

You will develop, maintain, and optimize Python-based applications and scripts within the financial domain.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Python applications focused on efficiency and scalability.
• Write complex SQL queries, optimize database performance, and manage data integrations.
• Support and enhance legacy systems using C#, Perl, and Java.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to integrate new functionalities.
• Maintain technical documentation for system architecture, code changes, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python development.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in designing and optimizing complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Ability to work with legacy languages including C#, Perl, and Java.
• Practical knowledge of financial services, trading systems, or back-office operations.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency with Git and other version control systems.
