Description

Lead the development of Splunk-based solutions to modernize archive services applications.

Responsibilities

• Train development teams on Splunk fundamentals, including reporting, dashboards, events, search capabilities, APIs, and data models.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and QA to transform business requirements into technical designs and programming specifications.
• Build, deploy, and test software modules using automated deployment technologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute unit and integration testing procedures and review test plans with quality assurance staff.
• Provide technical direction to identify cost-effective solutions that meet business objectives and system architecture standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing Splunk applications, APIs, dashboards, and logging.
• 7+ years of experience developing ASP.NET MVC applications with C#.
• 7+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 5+ years of unit testing experience using NUnit or JUnit.
• Experience with Entity Framework and writing T-SQL for MS SQL Server.
• Experience with XML schemas, XSLT, and REST/SOAP web services.
• Experience with Web API and DevOps CI/CD automation.
• Experience developing Windows Services using .NET 4.0 or above.
• Proficiency with front-end libraries such as Bootstrap 4/5 and jQuery.
• Experience working within an Agile Scrum development team.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD) concepts.
• Experience working with law enforcement or criminal justice systems.
