You will modernize legacy data science models into scalable, production-ready cloud solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Rewrite legacy SAS code into Python.
• Design and implement ML pipelines for production environments.
• Deploy machine learning models using AWS SageMaker and Snowflake.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies for models.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and SAS.
• Proven experience transforming legacy codebases from SAS to Python.
• Strong software engineering background with a 60% development and 40% data science split.
• Experience with AWS, specifically SageMaker, and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in version control, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Graduate degree in a quantitative field or near completion.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
• Familiarity with API frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
