Description

You will develop software applications to meet business requirements while maintaining operational readiness for middleware in AWS. You own the release pipeline, from coding to monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Code applications following established designs and standardize quality assurance procedures.
• Monitor and maintain middleware applications, including those hosted in AWS.
• Identify system enhancements to improve functionality or simplify administration.
• Develop plans for application changes, defect fixes, and configuration updates.
• Collaborate with BA and QA teams to create test plans and resolve issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Expert-level Java and Spring Framework (Spring JMS, Security, Data, and Integration).
• Extensive experience building scalable SOAP and RESTful services.
• Proficiency with XML, JSON, and consuming API/web-based services.
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, or SVN.
• Strong Unix scripting, CLI, and Perl skills.
• Experience with build tools like Gradle or Maven.
• Working knowledge of Cloud Foundry (PaaS) and AWS Web Services.
• Understanding of network zones, data centers, GSLB, API Gateway, and HAProxy.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python or Ruby scripting.
• Knowledge of LDAP.
