Description

Modernize legacy Walmart replenishment applications by migrating functionality to cloud-based NextGen technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java modules that replicate existing legacy application features.
• Deploy new modules following successful integration testing.
• Implement features that improve product fulfillment based on business requirements.
• Manage Jira stories and distribute tasks to the offshore team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive work experience in Java development.
• Experience with Java Enterprise Edition (JEE).
• Proficiency in building Microservices architectures.
• Strong background in developing Webservices.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring framework.
• Experience with Apache Kafka.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, Business, or Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud environments and modernization projects.
