Description

You will design, develop, and maintain production-quality software applications and extensions using Java and modern Big Data platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom applications and extensions using sound architectural principles and production-quality code.
• Automate software delivery across development, test, and production environments using version-controlled playbooks.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical problems involving Big Data products and large-scale data sets.
• Design and deploy metrics for system and application monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure production stability and diagnose performance issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and SpringBoot.
• Extensive experience with Kafka and Cassandra for large-scale streaming solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Spark for high-volume batch and streaming data processing.
• Deep understanding of multi-threaded applications, parallel processing, and concurrency.
• Experience with Linux, Shell scripting, and cloud-native systems in a DevOps environment.
• Proficiency with automation tools including Gradle, Concourse, and Ansible.
• Working knowledge of JSON and REST messaging technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for monitoring.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana, or Alerta.
