You will design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and client-server technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications using Java/J2EE and Object-Oriented software models.
• Design and prototype web application layouts using HTML, CSS, Angular, jQuery, and JavaScript.
• Develop back-end functions to acquire data from REST Web Services using Angular and HTTP Observable.
• Compose and execute Cassandra DB scripts and queries to fetch and test data from NoSQL databases.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and participate in system, integration, performance, and acceptance testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• Strong front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular.
• Experience with MVC frameworks and Spring MVC.
• Knowledge of RESTful web services.
• Experience working with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
• Competency with JIRA for task tracking.
• Familiarity with Spring Web Flow.
• Ability to work with NoSQL databases like Cassandra.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with Waterfall models.
