Description

You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and backend systems for energy market analytics and automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines ingesting US energy market data from ISO/RTO sources, utilities, and regulatory feeds.
• Develop analytics infrastructure to transform complex market data into actionable client reports.
• Integrate LLM capabilities to automate report generation and surface market signals.
• Architect backend components for Exchange Bid Automation, including REST APIs and scheduling logic.
• Own the full solution lifecycle, including production support, monitoring, and root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of professional experience in software or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for scalable applications and large datasets.
• Experience building data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Hands-on experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.
• Proficiency in FastAPI for building REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data pipeline tools.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Delta Lake, RAG architecture, LangChain, or LLM frameworks.
• Understanding of US energy markets, ISO/RTO operations, or Indian power sector dynamics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, GitOps, and observability tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, or Datadog.
