Description

You will design and implement backend APIs using Python and Flask, owning the full lifecycle from service endpoints to production support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and Flask.
• Implement request/response handling and robust input validation.
• Integrate backend logic with MySQL databases.
• Write maintainable code with comprehensive testing and debugging practices.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance for production environments.

Required Skills

• 4-5 years of relevant backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Python for backend application development.
• Hands-on experience building web services and routing with Flask.
• Strong understanding of API development best practices.
• Experience with MySQL for relational database integration.
• Ability to write clean, testable, and debuggable code.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
