Description

You will design, build, and unit test backend web application components for internal mobility and network design systems within a DevOps team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend web application components based on product owner requirements.
• Build, test, and document APIs for internal application components and external services.
• Lead pull-request reviews, peer reviews, and test case reviews for application features.
• Develop application deployment strategies to minimize manual intervention and participate in deployment decisions.
• Collaborate with test teams to troubleshoot defects and build automation tools for testing.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience leading development teams in building web applications using Python and Flask.
• Expert knowledge of data structures and algorithms in Python.
• Proficiency in backend web programming, including application routing, JSON, and YAML.
• Extensive experience with Git and Jira throughout your professional career.
• Strong Linux experience and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to generate high-quality requirements, design, and test documentation using MS Office tools.
• Proven software design skills, demonstrated via GitHub repositories or technical documentation samples.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with relational or non-relational database design.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing and routing.
• Experience building distributed software systems and implementing test automation.
