Description

Analyze engineering, security, and operations data to drive process improvements and reduce SDLC toil.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from existing dashboards tracking SDLC toil, Engineering Excellence, and Security Scores.
• Synthesize cloud cost and DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time, MTTR, Change Failure) to identify trends.
• Translate data-driven observations into actionable plans for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement data-driven improvement initiatives.
• Ensure data quality and consistency within the product management platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in a software development capacity.
• 2+ years proficiency in Python for data manipulation and scripting.
• 2+ years proficiency in Java for enterprise system interaction.
• 2+ years writing and understanding complex SQL queries for data extraction.
• 1+ year experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and metrics like DORA.
• Ability to rapidly learn new systems and technical contexts.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or GCP cloud cost analysis.
