Description

You will build and maintain software applications using Java and microservices architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and design high-level and low-level design documents.
• Develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, J2EE, and Spring frameworks.
• Implement REST/SOAP web services and manage service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Perform unit testing and coordinate system application transitions.
• Implement controls to ensure system and application traceability.

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience with a BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, or 3 years with an MS.
• Java and J2EE development.
• Microservices and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Hibernate and JAXB.
• Docker and OpenShift.
• Kafka.
• React JS, Angular, and JavaScript.
• XML, REST, and SOAP Web Services.
• Eclipse, Rational Application Developer (RAD), and JUnit.
• Agile methodology.
