Description

You will design and develop underwriting rules within the Allfinanz rules engine to automate individual life insurance decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the first iteration of underwriting rules within Allfinanz.
• Analyze existing rules to improve and expand underwriting automation.
• Mentor rules developers on Allfinanz modules and implementation.
• Collaborate with the underwriting department to define automation goals and strategy.
• Unit test developed rules and work with Quality Engineers to define automated testing needs.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience designing and developing MRAS/Allfinanz rules within the insurance industry.
• Hands-on experience with Allfinanz.
• Knowledge of Life Insurance underwriting processes.
• Experience mentoring other developers.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and work independently.

• Any Graduate degree.
