Description

Build and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks for system and functional validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python scripts and frameworks to automate network testing, including compliance, regression, functional, and security testing.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices to interface with network devices and orchestration platforms.
• Design modular, reusable test libraries for system, integration, and regression testing.
• Integrate test cases into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and log defects with proper traceability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience in Python.
• 5+ years of experience working with REST APIs.
• Expertise in JSON handling and response assertion logic.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as PyTest, unittest, or Robot Framework.
• Hands-on experience in Linux-based environments, including SSH, shell scripting, and log parsing.
• Proficiency with Git and JIRA.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles and the SDLC.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network automation using Ansible, NETCONF, or SNMP.
• Knowledge of Telecom OSS.
