Description

You will build and maintain technical integration solutions for healthcare data exchange between internal and third-party systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HL7 v2 and FHIR-based integration pipelines.
• Implement and support RESTful FHIR APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Enable bi-directional data exchange with EHR systems like Epic and Cerner.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on integration deployment and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and security protocols, including HIPAA.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of software development experience, Python preferred.
• 2+ years working with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR and HL7 v2).
• Strong experience with Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience parsing and generating JSON, XML, and HL7 v2 messages.
• Database skills including SQL with PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Familiarity with healthcare vocabularies such as SNOMED CT, LOINC, and ICD-10.
• Hands-on experience with integration tools like Rhapsody.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Epic and Cerner EHR systems.
