Description

You will own the development, testing, and deployment of Energy Management Systems and related integration components.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integration and system test plans, including regression and performance testing.
• Implement and maintain routine features in C++, Java, and Python using established patterns and libraries.
• Investigate and resolve defects by analyzing logs, configuration, and protocol traces.
• Participate in deployments, commissioning, and cutovers, including off-hours or on-site support.
• Contribute to technical documentation, including designs, configuration guides, and runbooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience customizing and delivering Energy Management Systems, preferably Reliance EMS.
• 3+ years of experience with electric utility industry practices.
• 5+ years of professional experience with C++, Java, or Python.
• Proficiency in C++ core syntax, classes, and STL containers.
• Ability to implement Python functionality using libraries like requests and pytest.
• Experience developing and debugging on Linux using shell scripts and build tools.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with secondary skills in Java frameworks and core language features.
• Background in test automation and continuous improvement of integration methods.
