Description

You will build and maintain backend services for a voice platform application using JavaScript and TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage REST API integrations to connect web applications with databases.
• Write, optimize, and maintain database queries and schema designs.
• Contribute to code reviews and participate in two-week Agile sprints.
• Spend approximately 60% of your time on direct coding and project contributions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js.
• Hands-on work with PostgreSQL or other ORM database models.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Washington, D.C.
• Degree in any field of study.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NestJS.
• Experience with Prisma ORM.
• Familiarity with monorepo libraries in JavaScript.
