Description

You will lead WebKit development projects, defining technical strategies and ensuring the delivery of complex browser engine and media application technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers and define technical strategies for WebKit development projects.
• Develop and maintain WebKit and web-based media applications with a focus on performance.
• Implement performance profiling and optimization techniques, including multi-threaded programming and concurrency management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to architect solutions for web rendering engines.
• Establish best practices for the development and optimization of WebKit-based applications.

Required Skills

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in C, C++, and WebKit development.
• Proven leadership experience in browser engine and/or media technologies.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience with performance optimization in Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Perl, and CMake.
• Exposure to modern CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of web security best practices.
• Experience with Agile Scrum-based development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of other web rendering engines like Blink (Chromium) and Gecko (Firefox).
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex deliverables.
