Description

You will ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of autonomous mobile robots through hands-on physical testing and field validation of robotics software and hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level testing to identify performance bottlenecks and develop solutions for real-time robotics operation.
• Set up and run on-robot tests, analyzing performance data to diagnose issues.
• Develop tools and processes for robot system bring-up, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Integrate and validate robot software modules (perception, planning, control) with hardware components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and safety.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system-level robotics integration, specifically with AMRs or real-world robot deployments.
• Proficiency in ROS/ROS 2, Linux, C++, and Python.
• Hands-on experience integrating sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs) and embedded computing platforms.
• Strong system debugging skills, including networking, profiling, performance tracing, and log analysis.
• Familiarity with real-time operating constraints, safety, and reliability in robotics.
• Bachelor's, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
