You will build and maintain features using best practices and team conventions.

Responsibilities

• Code new features adhering to team-defined conventions.
• Identify and debug problems from first principles.
• Question requirements to identify missed use cases and edge cases.
• Deliver consistently high-quality work while understanding customer needs.
• Own deliverables and drive toward business results.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience building Web apps on the MERN stack.
• Proficiency in a mainstream programming language, with interest in Javascript, TypeScript, Python, ReactJS, or Node.js.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and exposure to relational or NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of client-server architecture and HTTP protocol.
• Solid computer science fundamentals: data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with APIs and general programming concepts.
• Familiarity with Node.js and its use as a Javascript library.
• Ability to work effectively in a startup environment.
