Lenity Health is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer 2 (Backend) with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing engineering team. We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving and communication skills who can deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power AI agents.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Implement robust security and data protection measures.
• Debug and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.

Desired Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in backend development (experience in building AI-based applications is a plus).
• Proficiency in Python/Node.js and relational or hierarchical databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with caching mechanisms like Redis or Memcached.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Exposure to containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred, including services like EC2, Lambda, and SQS).
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
