Description

You will build and maintain unified risk evaluation systems processing over 50 billion annual evaluations across global transactions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available, scalable distributed systems supporting hundreds of millions of transactions.
• Develop self-service capabilities for experimenting with new machine learning models and managing risk use cases.
• Evaluate buyer, seller, and vendor risk in real-time across orders, purchases, and sign-ins.
• Collaborate with ML scientists to build platforms that prevent bad actors and protect customer experience.
• Automate risk decisions to reduce fraud and abuse while maintaining high standards of trust and safety.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Distributed Systems and Cloud Computing.
• Experience with Machine Learning integration and Statistical Modeling.
• Ability to build high-volume, low-latency processing pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and scalable system architecture.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, automated decision systems, and experimentation frameworks.
• Knowledge of trust and safety mechanisms or abuse prevention systems.
