Description

Design and build large-scale distributed applications and microservices from the ground up.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and document module and sub-system architectures, including interfaces and wireframes.
• Deliver sprint outcomes iteratively using agile ceremonies and functional story grooming.
• Optimize system design at the component level by evaluating trade-offs for security, performance, and reliability.
• Build, deploy, and troubleshoot production services while providing live support.
• Implement security best practices to prevent vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with data and code policies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience building large-scale, large-volume distributed services.
• Deep expertise in multiple programming languages, including memory management, multi-threading, and async execution.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols including OAuth and JWT.
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Hands-on experience with microservices patterns, DDD, and bounded contexts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with full-stack development across backend distributed systems and frontend frameworks.
• Background in high-throughput, low-latency service architectures.
